Frank Ruchala

Frank is the Zoning Director at the New York City Department of City Planning. He and his team are primarily responsible for developing and implementing zoning changes to address major policy issues such as the administration’s affordable housing plan and recovery from Hurricane Sandy. He’s been with the agency since 2007 and was previously was a member of the agency’s Manhattan Office, where he was the planner for Midtown Manhattan. Frank has a BA in Urban Studies from Rutgers university and a Master of architecture and a master of urban planning from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
